“Empowering Latina Women in Business”
Latina Leadership Conference
Latina Leadership in South Florida, New York, Washington, D.C. , Chicago & Puerto Rico
Latinas represent a significant population in South Florida yet they remain underrepresented in positions of leadership whether in the public or private sectors. The same is true in cities like New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico which are cities where we plan to have our annual conference in the coming years. While the opportunity gap has been closing over the past decade, there are still many challenges to Latinas achieving success as professionals and public leaders. By joining the USHWCC, you will become involved in an organization that has high-power Latina role models. These Latinas participate in our annual Latina Leadership & Empowerment Conference and are experts in topics such as business, politics, and nonprofits and can teach us about the challenges they have overcome as they escalate leadership positions in the workplace and public life, and how they are breaking the "glass ceiling" and changing the face of South Florida. Our next conference is set in the month of March, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
